We are hiring self-starting, motivated, individual. Applicants must live within reasonable daily driving distance of our main office in Wetumpka, AL (60 miles +/-). There are always a few local projects, but most projects are out of town (100 miles plus from Wetumpka, AL), so the ability and willingness to travel is a must. Typical work schedules allow for returning home every 4 to 10 days.
In this position, you will learn how to:
Bend & install conduit
Install detention frames, doors, locks, and ceilings
Types of wire/cable and how to install them
Install basic control systems
Install lighting
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, or GED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving machinery, loud noise and vibration, and other construction hazards. Employees be be required to frequently required to stand, walk, and reach and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs, occasional lifting of or moving up to 50 lbs. Occasional work in crawlspaces, trenches, and high elevations. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring and drawings. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness, and ability, to travel to various job sites in the Southeast USA. (Typical out of town stays are 4 to 10 days) Out of town work will comprise 75%-90% of your work year.
Ability to receive written, or verbal, daily task assignments from a Supervisor and execute the assigned tasks.
Effective quality control combined with the ability to complete work in a neat, safe, and professional manner
