Operate woodworking machines including (but not limited to):
CNC routers
Panel saws
Edgebanders
Drill presses and boring machines
Jointers, planers, and sanders
Load and unload materials, ensure proper machine setup, and make minor adjustments as needed for accuracy.
Review and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders for daily tasks.
Measure and inspect material to ensure consistency with specifications and tolerances.
Label, stage, and organize cut parts for assembly or edge banding processes.
Perform quality checks during and after production runs to verify precision cuts and finishes.
Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues or material flaws.
Maintain records of work performed and report discrepancies to supervisors.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines (lubrication, cleaning, blade changes, etc.).
Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
Report any malfunctions, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements (imperial units).
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine setup and adjustment.
Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in shop conditions.
1–2 years experience operating woodworking or CNC machinery in a manufacturing or cabinet shop environment.
Experience in commercial cabinet or millwork production.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM programs or CNC software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, WoodWOP, etc.).
Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
